Doctor Yuval Kaufman is a leading clinician within the field of Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery in Israel. He is a Senior Consultant at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Lady Davis Carmel Medical Center in Haifa, Israel, and the founder of one of the leading multidisciplinary endometriosis treatment centers in the country.

Doctor Kaufman is a Cum Laude alumnus of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Carmel Medical Center and went on to pursue advanced international training:

• Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship – with Prof. Alan Lam at the Centre for Advanced Reproductive Endosurgery, Sydney, Australia
• Oncogynecological Laparoscopy Fellowship – with Prof. Diethelm Wallwiener at the University of Tuebingen Women's Hospital (Frauenklinik, UKT), Germany

Current Positions & Expertise

Following his fellowship training, Doctor Kaufman returned to a Senior Consultant position at the Carmel Medical Center. Today he is the founder and Head of the Multidisciplinary Center for the Treatment of Endometriosis at Carmel and Lin Medical Centers – the leading centers in northern Israel for patients with endometriosis.

He also serves as a principal investigator and partner in several ongoing research initiatives, and consults for medical device start-up companies. Doctor Kaufman is a board member of the Israeli Endometriosis Foundation, an active member of the Israeli Gynecological Endoscopic Society, and a board member of the Asian Society of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis (ASEA).
